yet again, one of my all time favourite manga is going to be animated.
oh, i feel rather excited, but also a feeling of dread.

why? i guess i don't need to explain to seasoned anime watchers, but sometimes, the anime just spoils the whole manga with their poor art.
their faces just start to look distorted and the characters end up looking spastic. D: don't even start on the voice actors!
i was so disappointed!! D:

hi!

yea i know, you must be thinking its that dumb person who writes senseless things on this senseless webpage. whatever.

i feel weird. i think i might have gotten h1n1 or a weird disease of some sort, cus i realised that i've been having strange moods. sometimes i feel normal, and another i feel like shutting myself from others and start to brood and be emo. and for those really random times i feel like bawling and crying. kay that sounds senseless already. Out of all performing arts cca band is the one that puts in the most time, effort and commitment. I'm not just saying our school; it's most of the schools in singapore and through out the world. All the other noobs don't understand that's why always say about us. i don't friggin care if any classes lose in SC just because they claim the band members don't participate. I seriously think that they are bias towards band. Either that or they are retarded. Besides, isn't SC all about having fun and sportsmanship? What happened to the spirit? Band is obviously not the only CCA that clashes with the make-up SC. We band members do not mind missing SC for our practice, so why should the others? And yes, even 5 mins make a difference. Like i mentioned, band is not like other performing arts. It is not as simple as dancing or singing (no offence!). There is actually much more than just notes and rhythm. People who are not involved in music will obviously not understand. Come on, even RGS and NYGH got silver. Can't believe how people do not use their brains to think before they make a stinking comment. Like what mr tsung says, FOOLS.

For more than three months, PETA went undercover at an Iowa pig factory farm, which supplies piglets who are raised and killed for Hormel products. PETA found rampant cruelty to animals - committed by workers and supervisors. The farm changed ownership and management during PETA's investigation, but that made no difference to the animals who were born and confined there: Abuse and neglect were widespread during PETA's entire investigation.

The following are just some of the abuses that were documented:

A supervisor shoved a cane into a sow's vagina, struck her on the back about 17 times, and then struck another sow.
Multiple pigs were beaten with metal gate rods, and lacerations were found on more than 30 sows - which is probably evidence of more abuse.
A worker hit a young pig in the face four times with the edge of a herding board, and investigators witnessed dozens of similar incidents involving this worker and 11 other workers.
Two men - including a supervisor - were witnessed jabbing clothespins into pigs' eyes and faces. A supervisor also poked two animals in the eyes with his fingers.
A supervisor kicked a young pig in the face, abdomen, and genitals to make her move and told PETA's investigator, "You gotta beat on the bitch. Make her cry."
A worker who weighed an estimated 315 lbs. punched a sow on the back three times and said that he sat on a sow's head.

The findings on this Iowa pig farm, however, were not limited to cruelty to animals. PETA also documented an apparent violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and PETA has filed a complaint with the Food and Drug Administration. Animals who were to be killed for human consumption were sprayed with a substance that contains gentian violet - a chemical that is linked to certain cancers - thereby making their flesh "adulterated" under federal law.

By purchasing pigs born on this farm, Hormel is financially supporting an operation whose employees abuse animals. And if you eat these products or hot dogs, ham, sausage, or bacon, then you, too, are supporting this suffering. Please stop eating pigs. Then take action against Hormel.

after getting attacked by numerous insects, walking around the WHOLE kampong(i repeat, WHOLE KAMPONG), and being chased by a cow, i'm finally back home.
i felt kinda melancholic after leaving, especially so after the foster parent sent me an sms after we left(i accidentally deleted it!! T-T).

phew. i kinda miss my old bed and bathroom without insects.

From now, i officially HATE cicadas. (Actually i don't know if they're cicadas or not; but it looks like one). they fly around in the bathroom while you're bathing and doing your own business. I didn't know that insects were peverts too. It was kinda weird that there were more cicidas in the bathroom than any of the other rooms.

That's a personal record- even i'm amazed by what i did. i'll probably say this if i get to share OMMs sometime in the future.

These are a list of things and people i DO NOT LIKE (hate, despise). I'm sure many would agree with me. Offenders and suspects, please look out and start to change, if you know it. (i don't really know why i wrote this sentence, just felt like it)

1) People who have no originality.

e.g, copying somebody else's style of writing, talking, dressing, character, etc. And these people often backfire in their plan , making themselves look like a fool to many people, but sadly, they do not notice it themselves . They are also an insult to the 'original creator' .

2) Acting cute.

These kind of people are the worst. They torture the people around them without thinking of the consequences. They suddenly appear with a shrill 'BOO!' or whatever shit, thinking they look cute and lovable. Not to mention using shrill voices to talk or imitate others. Again, this leads back to point 1.

3) People who spreads rumours about others.

This people are just cruel. They make their friends upset by passing around false messages around to others, thinking its fun. Some of the victims don't even know what their friends are doing at their back, and this is just sad. These kind of people are just blobs of brainless jellyfish (?) with no sense of SENSE at all.

4) Springing up sudden 'live concerts'.

I bet you people know what i mean. For example, you were quietly reading a book to yourself or happily drifting off to your wonderland. Suddenly, you hear this loud shriek of terrible music blasting through your ears, and you realise that he/she is the person who did not make it for the choir, singing this song that is disfigured so terribly, you don't even know what the tune is. Oh, the horror. Its alright to sing, but unless you have a voice of an angel, please let the people around you have some time to mentally prepare for it or you could just lock yourself somewhere and hallucinate about cutting your own album.

5) A person suddenly getting emo (emotional).

Example. You were talking to this classmate of yours. Then, another friend of yours wants to tell you something important. The both of you goes to a corner to discuss. When you return, the person seems angry, and starts saying something like 'You always hide things from me' , 'You always 'pang seh'(some crappy unknown word) me', 'I know you find me an eyesore' and some other retarded stuff i do not want to fill in. You say 'Fine, if you insist'. The person gets angry and screams ; 'SO YOU ADMIT'. What the SEAFOOD. Come on, don't you just feel like telling the person off or punching him/her in the face? I do. =.=

6) Blaming others for one's stupidity.
These people are those who are not willing to face to the truth. For example, you design this really retro and nice pattern. Your 'acquaintance' (replace with friend if you like) comes along and sees your fabulous design. (you sense a tinge of jealousy form him/her) He/She attempts to make a design or pattern just like yours, and, well, fails miserably. The person gets all unhappy and wonders why you can, and he/she can't. Then, she realises your friend or relative is a designer and says that you sought help from them, which is the reason for the beautiful outcome of your design. Of course, you know its not true. But as not to make that person seem dumb for making that accusation, you admitted to it. Sighs.

7) Putting oneself in high regard. (i don't really know what i am typing, maybe i meant haolian(showoff, proud))
Jokingly doing it is fine, as people know you are just making a corny joke. But to put oneself in such a high position, whether he/she deserves it is a question. Examples of these are :
• Nominating oneself for president/chairman or leader of an organisation
• Showing off their figure (for girls) to uninterested guys/girls.
• Saying that they are exceptionally good at something, when their dog is better at it.
• Thinking you are some sort of royalty and acting all kingly/princessy .

Well, to make it safe, i better copyright this WHOLE post and whatever i'm gonna type/say/do.
Yes, i am kiasu , but with such people around, you shouldn't let down your guard. LOL.

The Power of Paint

Paint. Many might think that its something bootless compared to Adobe Photoshop.

TADASHI.

Paint IS NOT USELESS. So it might not be as good as photoshop, but we can't cast it aside because of this. Paint is a wonderful program and software to those who really understand and have mastered it perfectly. (:

Many beautiful images can be made with Paint, and i learnt this fact today from a certain somebody. :)) I have made two images with purely paint today (partly because i have no photoshop :P), and i feel that it's not bad for a beginner :D

Japanese Animation. Fondly known as 'anime' to all of us. It is now a growing craze in Singapore, having the highest percentage of anime downloads per capita, ahead of countries such as the United States and Australia. (shocking)

So, it also means that many of us anime fanatics are claiming to be 'No. 1 anime fan' , "anime freak" or even slogans like 'Anime rules my life' and 'Can't live without anime'.

So, how big of an anime fan are you? In my opinion, an anime fanatic has to appreciate manga(mahng-gah) or comics . As many of us know, most of our favourite animes, as well like popular ones like Naruto (er..) , Inuyasha (hell yea!) and Bleach (pukes) are all derived from manga drawn by mangakahs. I feel that for one to be a true-blue anime fan, one has to enjoy and appreciate the works of mangakahs , as they have spent so much time on their manga, and i don't think they would like it if the animation completely takes over their original work.

Personally, my favourite mangakahs are Tachibana Higuchi and Minami Maki (there are others, but these two are the ones i really remember as the manga(s) i am reading now are by them).

Heck. Too long for an introduction. LMAO.

So, you call yourself a true-blue animefreak? To be able to hold on to this title you must and SHOULD know several things an anime fanatic should know and understand.

Here's a question.
Why are people, especially girls, so willing to go for plastic surgery?

i read this article up at the internet about young girls and women going for plastic surgery. it revolves mainly - and mostly on Japanese females. These young girls are too concerned about their looks to even realise that inner beauty is the thing that's most important. I myself don't really support plastic surgery, and also have a tiny bit of loath (?) towards the person that started it (it goes all the way back in B.C , you know :))

What people won't do for beauty. Around Asia, women—and increasingly, men—are nipping and tucking, sucking and suturing, injecting and implanting, all in the quest for better looks. I don't understand why people don't appreciate their own appearances; looks that they have got from their parents and grandparents.

This reminds me of a singer. I don't know what her name is (and i don't give a damn), and i don't listen to her music, but i really admire her for standing up to her own principles. Many people are trying to get her to go under the knife to sharpen her nose and whatever, but she stood up to them and said "i don't want to go for plastic surgery- i think i look good, and also, this is the look i got when i was young, and i'm not changing it." (or something like that.)

Also, i forgot who said it, but that person said that Koreans are the least good looking people in the whole world ( u know what i mean, its just a nicer term so that i won't risk being sued-.=). I've heared from somewhere that families who have daughters would immediately save up alot of money- money for their daughters to go for plastic surgery when they are older. It has become quite a custom now. This just shows that they are ashamed of their daughters and want to make them look like an alien that doesn't look like themselves at all.

Also, this korean movie '200 pounds of Beauty' kinda turned me off a bit , cuz of the plastic surgery part. Don't ask me why; i just don't like it. -.-

I'm not discriminating against women who have got beauty through these methods, but i urge everyone here to try not to go for plastic surgery and be content with your own looks. If someone doesn't appreciate you because of your looks, just kick that person away. I'm sure that there will be people out there that will appreciate you because you are who you are and not because of your looks.

Watch out guys, the next time u see a hot korean or japanese babe and start calling her 'sekushii' or 'kawaii' , you better check her medical records out (its not discriminating, its meant to be a, err, joke?? -.=)

So say 'NO!' to plastic surgery! (anti-surgery campaign, LMAO:))

yo! came back from Malaysia today. Kinda sad to leave . Yea, and i'll miss u too, ANIMAX =( . and DON"T ask why i'm posting at 12am. ok . whatever .

when i was at my grandparents house, i saw something really cool and fascinating. It was a lizard's skeleton! i closed up on it and stared at it. Well, it died on a fly paper. I guess it was trying to get the easy way out by trying to get its ready dinner on flies stuck to it. Apparently its been dead for about a week. i realised that a lizard had only just a long, flexible bone for its body, and its skull somewhat resembles a fish head. i didn't post the picture of it here as it was too blurry and also quite disgusting. i also felt that i shld respect the lizard(-.-), so i deleted it=/

well, during my stay, i went to this singing competition to look at ppl who are 50 and above singing. it was kinda boring, and there were bugs everywhere. so, i went to the holy temple beside it and explored the place. And there was this really interesting food van. You know those ingredients u see at Yong Tau Foo stalls right? they have alot of varieties. Well, the food van was exactly the same. U chose the food u want, and u cook it yourself in either hot water or oil. My brother and i kept changing the food that the van keeper kept looking at us. And we took such a long time that our grandparents and relatives thought we were being kidnapped(?????). Well, malaysia IS a dangerous place.

ok, to the best part of this 'festival'. There was this 10 metres long coal 'road' being burned, and there was a huge bon fire. After, the fire managed to go down and the coal was only glowing. Then, there was this drum and gong playing this totally offbeat tune with a person holding a Tang San Zhang stick walking with them. Then, a few ppl sprinkled some white coloured thingon to the coal. Then, the guy with the stick just stepped on some holy papr and kinda brisk walk through the coal road. I was really impressed at that time, but was surprised to see no one clapping. After talking to an about 60 year old lady, i realised that it was not a performance, and it was a, erm , ritual. Then , almost suddenly, a whole bunch of ppl went near the coal road , held little statues of gods and begin walking over the road. There were even kids as young as 4 years old walking on the road. Yea yea, i was horrified.

But guess what, the coal road isn't hot AT ALL although it was glowing. in fact, it was icy and cool. Then there was this guy trying to act cool and started walking really fast over the road. But i could tell his legs hurt. Apparently if u walked really fast over the road, you would feel the heat. if u walked slowly, it would feel cool. i wanted to go on it, but my grandmother wouldnt let me. LIES(?)

Have you ever lied?
it could be a mean & evil lie, like telling ur parents that its ur little brother or sister that threw the cat into the river with some soap when it was u that accidentally left the cat in the washing machine;
or it was a lie out-of-goodwill(?) , like saying: ' Oh,no great-aunt Agatha, i can hardly see your mustache at all!' when the fact was her upper lip was as hairy as a mammoth's armpit.

ok, we KNOW ur standard answer will be

"Hardly, but only when i NEED to" or
'Sometimes, but really rare." OR

'Yea, but only sometimes, cuz most of the time, they are white lies'

'cuz maybe most of u think that lying is a sin. yeah i agree, but what about the 'white lies'?

Some of u think tat 'white lies' are harmless, because 'white lies' are lies that are harmless and that can actually make one feel better, e.g. in the case ^UP THERE. But i want to make it clear that the so-called 'WHITE LIES' are —yea—still LIES . It doesnt really matter what kind of lies they are; as long as they are untrue and groundless(?), THEY ARE STILL LIES.

According to a documentary on Arts' Central(?), an average person lies about 15 times a week. The conclusion(?) they have is that if you don't lie —get this—, you are not human.
